Gorges du Verdon
Les Gorges du Verdon are the result of erosion caused by the river Verdon which today has left gigantic fissures in the rock face. The sight really is spectacular and the Gorges draw many visitors every year. Surrounded by rich flora and fauna and peppered by tiny traditional French villages, Les Gorges shouldn't be missed if you are camping in the Côte d’Azur.

Marineland is much more than an aquarium or a sea life centre. There are five different parks catering for all tastes. Marineland itself has a huge range of sea life and shows. There is the butterfly jungle, adventure golf, the 'little farm' and Aquasplash (a waterpark). This is one of the most popular attractions in the Côte d’Azur.

Iles d'Hyères is a group of tranquil islands with sandy beaches, are ideal for exploring by bike. The islands form a circle around the bay, attracting a number of tourists who take boat trips out to visit the ancient forts located on them. There is a great deal of history surrounding these islands and they are well worth a visit if you are staying at a nearby Côte d’Azur campsite.
Grasse
A visit to the perfume capital of the world, Grasse, is one of the most memorable things to do in the Côte d’Azur. There are free guided tours around many of the perfume factories, after which you are able to buy their products at factory prices. The town itself is also worth a visit, the most talked about piece of Grasse's past being to do with its position on the Route Napoléon and the lengthy and tumultuous stay of Pauline Bonaparte when she was separated from Prince Borghese.

Monaco is world famous for being home to the rich and famous, and is within easy reach of many of our campsites in the Côte d’Azur. There is a lot to see and do here, including shopping, sightseeing and gambling, plus the route of the famous Monte Carlo Formula 1 motor-racing street circuit. Traffic can build up during high season and so taking the train makes a good alternative to driving. Be prepared to be amazed by this outstanding country.

Again, a haven for the rich and famous. Take a walk down to Millionaire's Harbour (one of the most iconic attractions in the Côte d’Azur) and marvel at the incredible yachts and speedboats moored there. St Tropez is expensive however, so be prepared to pay a little bit extra for those cold beers!
