A fly-drive holiday is a great way to create your perfect break. There’s a huge choice of flights to Europe, bringing all of our campsites within easy reach. Whether you are planning a short break or a long stay holiday, you can be relaxing in the great outdoors within a matter of hours.

Planning & booking a fly-drive holiday

Booking early is essential. The airlines only have a limited number of seats at the lowest fares, and you will find that prices increase the closer you get to the travel date. It also means that you secure your first choice of accommodation and dates at your Canvas Holidays campsite.

There are many routes available from all over Ireland. We can’t book flights for you, but recommend that you use www.skycanner.net to see a full choice of available routes and compare prices.

Once you’ve selected your route, book your Canvas Holidays accommodation.

Car hire

We can also arrange car hire from locations all over Europe with Avis.

Cut down on your packing

Most airlines have strict rules on excess baggage. But don’t panic – we’ve got lots of ways to help you cut down on the packing. Our accommodation is fully equipped with all you need for a self-catering holiday, so there’s no need to pack the kitchen sink!

Once you arrive on site, you’ll usually find a well stocked shop, so you can buy everything you need. There’s even a selection of books and games to borrow in the Canvas Holidays reception.

If you’re travelling with a baby or toddler, there is a cot in all of our mobile homes and lodges, or we have them available for hire if you are staying in a Maxi Tent. We also offer highchair hire.

All our accommodation includes pillows and blankets; all you need to bring is sheets, pillowcases and towels. Or save space in your suitcase and take advantage of our towel and linen hire service.
