Chablis
Home to one of Burgundy’s best known wines, this is a prosperous town with plenty to offer for wine enthusiasts. The merchants and specialists shops have a myriad of choice, with plenty of opportunities to sample before you buy.
Chalon-sur-Saône
Chalon-sur-Saône is a lively town on the banks of the Saône River. The cathedral square has a lively café society, overlooked by delightful half-timbered houses. Take a ‘bateau-mouche’ and explore the river at a leisurely pace.

Getting there
We recommend you take a landbridge crossing to the UK. You can then choose either a short or long sea crossing.
Short sea crossingTake an early morning crossing to Calais and you will be in Burgundy the same day (approximately 370mls - 7hrs - by motorway). If you want to break your journey, stop at
