D-Day Landing Beaches – for a memorable day out whilst camping in Normandy, take a day trip to the landing beaches along the Côte de Nacre, which include Omaha, Juno & Sword, as well as the many war memorials in the area.

Bayeux – the home of the celebrated tapestry, a 70m long piece of linen, stitched in 1067 depicting the events of the Norman Conquest, leading up to and including the Battle of Hastings. This is one of the most historically significant sights to see whilst camping in Normandy.

Fécamp – a sea-fishing port with an attractive promenade. The Musée de la Bénédictine, where the famous liqueur is made, is a must see when staying at a Normandy campsite. Tour the Bénédictine distillery and the old distilling chamber, enjoying a free tasting at the end of the tour.

Falaise – the birth place of William the Conqueror is home to one of the first stone castles to be built in Normandy. Climb the battlements for spectacular views over the surrounding area.
