Popular theme parks in Europe
If you’re trying to decide between the which of the best theme parks to go to, then let us help, because there's lots to choose from!
From seeing much-loved characters at Disneyland® Paris, stomach twisting roller coasters at Duinrell in Holland, or water-based rides at Aqua Brava in Spain, to themed parks like Cinecitta World in Rome, there’s certainly something for everyone and we’ve got campsites perfectly placed to most of the best theme parks in Europe.
Make memories for all the family with a visit to Disneyland® Paris and sprinkle some magic on your holiday. Explore more than 50 attractions or watch one of the many shows and parades on your visit. There is a lot to explore in this incredibly detailed park, so make sure you get their early. If that hasn’t got you booking already, then check out our guide to Disneyland® Paris for more details.
We currently have two fabulous campsites near Disneyland® Paris, meaning you can still enjoy the park, without the expense of onsite accommodation.
Aqua Brava Spain
Theme parks in Spain are in abundance, but we particularly like Aqua Brava, near Girona. Our campsite Nautic Almata is just 4 miles away from Aqua Brava, making it a perfect day out. After you’ve walked the beautiful cobbled streets of Girona, pick up the pace on either the Kamakazi or the Cobra roller coaster, or take the little ones to their new Pirate Island where they can have their own adventures on smaller rides.
Duinrell theme park in Holland provides something for all the family. Thrilling rides for the more thrill seekers, through to gentler adventures for the younger (and older!) family members. Duinrell also has the Tiki Waterpark, so pack your swimsuit and take on one of the 16 twisty water slides or float along the lazy river for a more relaxed pace.
Cinecittà World Rome, Italy
Cinecittà World is the largest film studio in Europe, so although not the biggest theme park, it offers plenty to do, especially for the younger families. The park is designed around you becoming part of the film making experience, so expect to not only enjoy one of the 20 attractions, but maybe also star in one of the active film sets taking on the role of either a director, actor or even a light technician! Our campsites in Rome are perfectly placed if you fancy not only the beautiful history of Rome, but want to see a film studio in action.
