In addition to the magnificent island landscapes, the archipelago allows you to enjoy a variety of activities. We recommend that visitors to the island explore the town of Rab, which has been a port since Roman times. Once prosperous under the control of Venice, the town declined during the epidemic of the Black Death, before experience a boom in the 19th century by welcoming the elites of Central Europe in search of holidaying resorts.
During your visit to Rab, we advise you to stop at the Dominis Nimira Palace, the Rector's Palace and the many churches of the town. Rab is also famous for its old medieval centre which is still perfectly preserved.

While visiting the old town of Rab, you can swim in the refreshing waters of the Adriatic while visiting Kupaliste beach. Further north of the city, behind the Komrcar park, you will find Skver beach. The most beautiful beaches are near the town of Kampor. Enjoy a swim at the beaches of Matovica and Suha Punta. To the south of the island, you will find Pudarica Beach with a view of Otok Dolin Island.
A little further from Rab, you will be able to visit the Sjeverni Velebit National Park. It is an exceptional natural place where you will find Mount Zavižan which reaches a summit of 1676 meters. From the peaks of the park, you will have a magnificent view of the Krk archipelago and the Adriatic Sea.
