Other worthwhile tourist attractions at the town are the Closed City of Concarneau medieval fortress, Marine Biological Station and Concarneau Marinarium museum, Château de Keriolet and Manoir du Moros.
To the west of Saint-Yvi, the larger town of Quimper is a great place to day trip to, especially if you have an interest in history and culture. The best sightseeing opportunities here include the Quimper Beaux Arts Museum, Saint Corentin Cathedral, the Breton County Museum, Retraite Botanical Gardens and the town's Petit Train.
