Welcome to Mon Perin, a lovely 4 * campsite on the Adriatic coast in Istria.
Mon Perin, located in Bale near Rovinj in northern Croatia, perches itself by two beautiful bays with turquoise waters. Bordered by pebble beaches, in the shade of pine trees and spacious outdoor areas, Mon Perin is a real paradise for visitors. As for the water park, the swimming pool and the paddling pool have the original shape of a dinosaur... something which the kids absolutely love! All around the water, you’ll find sunbeds and parasol rentals to enjoy the sun and the blue skies ... and indulge in long naps at the edge of the water.
To make the most of the Adriatic’s beautiful waters, why not try some water sports; kayaking, paddle-boarding and windsurfing are just a few of the aquatic activities on offer. Below the surface, there’s a whole world to discover including shipwrecks and colourful fish; try some snorkelling or Scuba diving to explore this underwater paradise. Several sites are recommended, especially the Brijuni National Park located off the nearby town of Fazaňa.
During your stay at Mon Perin, the whole family can enjoy a full entertainment programme that’s run by the friendly and enthusiastic staff. Many sports facilities are also at your disposal, including sports fields such as basketball, football, petanque and beach volleyball.
With so many activities on offer, you are sure to work up a hunger. Discover the local cuisine in one of 3 restaurants at the campsite, which feature lovely views of the sea. You can also refuel at the beach bar or buy fresh produce at the local market.
A stay at Mon Perin wouldn’t be complete without taking the chance to explore the local area, there’s plenty of options. The medieval town of Bale features charming houses and cobbled streets, leading you on a journey back in time. You can stroll or cycle to the main attractions; the castle district and the Romanesque chapel St Elie.
To the north you find Rovinj, considered to be the most beautiful city of Istria. With its Venetian tints and long, colorful facades, it completely dazzles you. Turning towards the sea, it will enchant you with its many stunning vistas including the highest point of the city: Saint Euphemia Cathedral. To come back with unforgettable memories, do not miss the sunset in Rovinj.
To the south, walk along the coast to Fazana and its Brijuni National Park and finally to Pula. A day tour is enough to see the amphitheater and the Temple of Augustus.
