Umag town lies to the north of the campsite and is home a 10th century wall that wraps around the perimeter. Other notable points of interest include the Town Museum and the Church of Roche, which dates back to the 16th century.
With its close proximity to Slovenia, you can easily hop over the border and visit the quaint coastal towns of Izola and Koper. You can even follow the coast into Italy and spend a day in Trieste.
If you head south of the campsite, you’ll arrive at the charming town of Rovinj. Take a walk around the cobbled streets and admire the pastel coloured houses before sampling delicious seafood. Top attractions include Batana Museum, Dinopark theme park and the tower of St. Euphemia Church.
