There's plenty to do at Polari with nearby beaches, organised activities and children's clubs.
In the heart of a peaceful green oasis of large pine and olive trees, Camping Polari is a relaxing campsite right next to the beach.
For active holidaymakers, this site is perfect because there's always something going on. For children there's the children's club and for everyone else there's various organised activities including sports tournaments and fitness classes. The large freshwater pool complex at the heart of the campsite is the perfect spot to relax and cool down after an active day. The beach next to the site is one of the main draws to this area. There are two beaches, including one nudist but this is clearly signposted. Both beaches hold 'Blue Flag' awards meaning that they reach the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The waters are crystal clear and fantastic for all ages with the gently sloping shoreline and warm waters.
In the evenings, there are multiple restaurants to choose from, all serving fantastic local produce.
There is a Canvas Holidays courier on site.
The site is less than 3 miles from the historic city of Rovinj which you can reach by either bus from the campsite or by hiring bikes and cycling along the coastal cycle path. The city has a rich history and its main centre is lovely to walk around - head down the small alleyways to discover pretty squares, churches and monuments. A must do in Rovinj is to climb the Tower of St Euphemia - if you've visited Venice, the tower may look familiar as it's modelled on St Mark's Campanile. It's the highest tower in Istria and offers fantastic views over the surrounding coastline, towns and natural parks.
Surrounding the whole area is the Golden Cape Forest Park which has lots of trails and spots to enjoy a lovely picnic. The Brijuni Islands are worth a day trip, take a ferry from Fažana to visit the two islands open to the public.
