Campsite Domaine des Ormes
This top campsite is located on the site of a 16th century château, a short drive from St Malo port.
The site of a 16th century château, Domaine des Ormes has been transformed into one of France’s finest campsites. It has been awarded five red tents by Michelin and is also a member of the Castels Camping group.
The old watermill is now the bar, and the coach house and stables are now the golf club, while the golf course winds its way through the woods and over the hill (handicap certificate required). The pool complex comprises three pools, a superb water park with slides beside the tree-lined fishing lake, and a covered lagoon-style pool with wave pool. Our generous, grassy emplacements are scattered throughout the campsite. From tennis to horse riding, bicycle hire to pedalo hire, you’ll find something for everyone here.
There is a Canvas Holidays courier on site.

Set in the 600 acre grounds of a château, this wooded parkland site is only four miles from the medieval town of Dol-de-Bretagne. Here you will find some restaurants, bars and a few shops. The sandy beaches of St Malo are 15 miles away. The delightful seaside resort of Dinard is a little further and is well worth a day trip.
A popular day trip is a visit to the famous Mont Saint Michel (22mls). Linked by a causeway to the mainland, you can learn about the history of the island on a guided tour. Along the coast from St Malo, walk at low tide to explore the Ile du Grand Bé.
