The arc that curves around the gulf of Morbihan is home to many notable places of interest including Château de Suscinio, Vannes Aquarium and the Butterfly Garden. The gulf comprises of many islands, most notably Île-d'Arz, a stunning nine island archipelago with beautiful hiking routes.
A little farther afield but worth a visit is the Zoo and Botanical Garden of Branféré. West of the campsite is Carnac, and its famous Standing Stones. This megalithic site dating back to around 4000BC is one of the region’s most popular attractions.
