Other excellent tourist attractions in the local area include the Laboratoire Arago Aquarium in Banyuls-sur-Mer and the scenic coastal commune of Collioure. If you have your own transport, a day trip to the pretty city of Perpignan is highly recommended, where a host of sightseeing opportunities await including the Palace of the Kings of Majorca, the Têt River and the Natural History Museum.
