An oasis of peace on the Opal Coast in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Camping La Dune Blanche provides the ideal place to enjoy a peaceful and calming camping holiday in the north of France. A picturesque site set in 20 hectares surrounded by woodland, the Hauts de France resort invites you to embrace nature.
The outdoor heated swimming pool on the site features a shallow paddling area for little ones. Adults can relax on the sun terrace with a good book while the kids make a splash. After time spent at the pool, campers can challenge each other to a few frames of billiards or some petanque.
When you stay at La Dune Blanche, you’ll be settled in the midst of an area of lovely nature that’s primed for outdoor activities. The woodlands around the campsite are ideal for walking and cycling, and the beautiful beaches close to the resort offer pleasant days by the sea. A selection of al fresco activities are available in the local area such as tennis, sea canoeing, horse riding and much more.
Although there is no restaurant onsite, you’ll be able to enjoy refreshing drinks and snacks from the poolside bar. In the nearby town of Camiers, you will find a supermarket and towards the coast, a small selection of restaurants and patisseries.
Our accommodation options offer you the chance to stay in a mobile home with air-conditioning or arrive onsite in your motorhome at pitches with electricity. You’ll enjoy spacious emplacements with shade that offer peace and privacy.
Take the free shuttle bus to St. Cecile beach where you will find a wide beach with soft golden sands and grassy rolling dunes. Enjoy sandcastle building and basking in the sun after trying some exhilarating water sports such as kite surfing, windsurfing or land sailing.
Exciting day trips with the whole family await at the treetop adventure park Opalaventure or the awesome jungle themed water park at Aqualud. Extending south from the campsite, Réserve naturelle nationale de la baie de Canche is ideal for shaded walks along the waymarked trails.
Sticking to the coast and heading north from the campsite, you’ll find plenty more to see such as the Phare du Portel Lighthouse, Nausicaä Centre National de la Mer Aquarium and Museum of the Atlantic Wall, as well as yet more beautiful beaches and bays.
