Occupying a peaceful spot close to St Georges on the Ile d’Oléron, the campsite welcomes families in search of equal measures of recreation and relaxation.
The swimming complex of the resort caters to holidaymakers of all ages and features a heated main pool for competent swimmers. A trio of water slides will delight youngsters, as well as the exciting splash playground that features water games, spray jets and shallow water. Around the pool, campers can soak up the sun on the terrace.
There’s so much for holidaymakers of all ages to enjoy on a stay at Domaine d’Oléron, including a selection of sports such as basketball, football, table tennis and petanque. The Kid’s Club onsite invites 5-12-year-olds to enjoy a lively programme of entertainment that typically includes face painting, creative workshops and sports tournaments. The island is a haven for cyclists – so why not hire bikes on site and explore the island's many cycle paths.

The campsite is set between St Georges d'Oléron and St Pierre d'Oléron (both around a mile away). St Pierre d'Oléron is home to the main museum on the Island, offering an interesting insight into the island’s history and culture. It is also home to the botanical gardens of Jardin Boutanques de la Boirie. The closest beach is at Boyardville, 1.5 miles away. It offers a broad sweeping beach of golden sands and lovely views out to Fort Boyard.
For a closer look at Fort Boyard, embark on one of the regular boat trips which leave from St Pierre. The 'Petit Train' tourist train is a good way to discover the highlights of the island - it departs from St Trojan les Bains, a short drive from site. Also worth a visit is the Chassiron lighthouse at Chateau d'Oléron (12 miles).
