From the moment you arrive at Séquoia Parc, you’ll be immediately charmed by its colourful entrance, bedecked with pretty flower borders, leading to a Bastille-style reception. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vineyards, this delightful Castels Camping site offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

The spacious emplacements are laid out in the grounds of Château de la Josephtrie. The château’s outbuildings have been tastefully restored and make an inviting bar and restaurant. The water park, surrounded by palm trees, offers the ideal location to laze in the sun and children will love the colourful clown fountain feature in their pool. If you want to explore, you can hire a bike to explore the quiet country roads, ideal for cyclists of all ages.

Local area

The small town of St Just-Luzac is under a mile from the campsite. Nearby Marennes (3 miles) is known as the oyster capital of France and has a safe and sheltered beach, the nearest to the site, and is particularly good for young children. Marennes has a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops.

Luna Park is an amusement park located between La Tremblade and La Palmyre, with a good range of rides to appeal to all. From La Rochelle (35 miles) take a boat trip to the islands of Ré, Oléron and Aix, or rent a flat-bottomed boat to spend the day exploring the marshlands of La Venice Vert.
