Ideally perched on the edge of a beautiful lake and just 2km from Château de Hautefort, Campsite Coucou is a 3* resort in a great woodland environment. It offers the perfect place to relax and embrace nature while enjoying a holiday in the heart of the Dordogne in Nouvelle Aquitaine.
Fun in the water is always possible on a stay at Coucou, whether holidaymakers are making a splash in the swimming pool and paddling pool, or diving into the inviting waters of the resort’s lake. Featuring a playful inflatable course, the lake is a brilliant place for aquatic recreation with friends and family. Extending over an impressive 6 acres, the lake boasts designated picnic tables and 13 fishing stations.
Active campers will find plenty to do at the site, whether they want to play sports such as football, basketball, table tennis and boules, or water activities on the lake including kayaking and canoeing. Children will love the fun and freedom of the Kid’s Club (3–12-year-olds), as well as swinging by the campsite’s playground.
In the evening, the programme of family-friendly entertainment at the resort typically features dancing, karaoke and quizzes, and takes place well away from the pitches to help maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite.
Facilities and services at the campsite include a bar, takeaway service, grocery shop and daily bread deposit. A selection of restaurants, shops and cafes can be found in the local area, as well as supermarket. Other useful amenities onsite include a communal TV room, BBQ area and washing machines.
The mobile homes are conveniently located on green and wooded sites, thus preserving the peaceful atmosphere that is famous for holidays in the Périgord Noir.
