Local area

Camping Duinrell is located a five minute walk from the village of Wassenaar. The village has a good selection of shops and bars as well as a choice of restaurants, and excellent bus links. The nearest beach (3 miles) is long, wide and sandy and is ideal for children of all ages. There are a number of bars and cafés at the beach and it is a popular location for wind and kite surfing.

Young and old alike will love Efteling theme park in Kaatsheuvel, just over an hour’s drive. To experience Holland’s rich heritage, head for the Kinderdijk windmills, a group of nineteen windmills built in 1740 that are now on the World Heritage list.
