Holiday destinations on the shimmering shores of Lake Maggiore don’t come much better than Campsite Isolino, a family-friendly site with direct access to a sandy lake beach and great pool complex. Located on a peninsula of the Borromean Gulf, the resort occupies a quiet setting on the western shore of Lake Maggiore in Piedmont.
The resort has a fabulous 1600m² water park consisting of a central swimming pool, a children's pool with water playground and massage jets. Along with making a splash in the playful pool, holidaymakers can also relax in the sun on a deckchair or savour the shade beneath the parasols.
Isolino’s private sandy beach offers breath-taking views of Lake Maggiore, where the water is ideal for fishing and campers can rent canoes and paddle boats. The area around the campsite is very beautiful and features foot and cycle paths, great for hiking and biking.
For entertainment, you will find a wide range of things to do taking place during the day and in the evening. Active holidaymakers can enjoy table tennis, tennis and aqua aerobics, while sociable events that start after the sun sets include live music, shows and pool parties. Along with a fantastic playground with slides and swings, children will love spending time at the Kid's Club that runs during high season.
Feeling peckish? You can enjoy typical dishes of the region at the onsite restaurant and pizzeria, all with wonderful views of the pool and Lake Maggiore. The resort is also blessed with a small supermarket, ice cream stand, bakery, bar, snack bar and souvenir shop.
Fragrant pine trees, refreshing air and an abundance of greenery ensure that the emplacements of Isolino are serene, peaceful and private. Within this relaxed and natural setting, our accommodation options offer spacious living areas, whether holidaymakers opt for a well-equipped tent or modern mobile home.
During high season, campers can explore Lake Maggiore on a boat excursion. These trips on the sparkling waters depart directly from the campsite and make stops at the Borromean Islands, the Luino Market and Stresa.
Stresa (10 km) is one of the most popular towns on the lake. It offers breath-taking views of Isola Bella, an idyllic isle featuring a stunning palace and gardens. From Stresa, you can take the 20 minute cable car ride to the summit of Monte Mattarone. From here you can see all the lakes across the region on a clear day.
For young holidaymakers, the best child-friendly attractions in the wider area include Alpyland, a thrilling mountain top adventure park, and Pombia Safari Park.
