Sun-drenched beaches and the calm waters of the Mediterranean Sea feature abundantly at 5* Campsite Park Playa Bara, a vibrant resort lined with palm trees, colourful flowers and the charm of Catalan. Perched on the Costa Dorada, you’ll be ideally placed for a warm and welcoming beach holiday in Spain.
Taking pride of place at the campsite, the sublime pool complex has four pools, numerous water slides and a relaxing space with spa, Jacuzzi and whirlpool. With a safe water depth, mini slides, water fountains and splash playground, the toddler pool is ideal for little ones. The spacious sun terrace hosts plenty of loungers, so get ready to soak up the sun while sipping a refreshing beverage.
If you prefer to keep active onsite, you can head over to the multi sports ground to challenge your fellow campers to some football, tennis, basketball or table tennis. Kids can make friends at the playground before tagging along with their new acquaintances at the site run Children’s Club.
The evening entertainment is just as lively as the daytime activity, as holidaymakers flock to the awesome amphitheatre that hosts live music and cabaret acts. The underground disco is the perfect place to dance the night away.
Park Playa Bara has some fantastic dining options, with Catalan and Spanish cuisine available in the traditional Mas Bara restaurant. Fast food, snacks and drinks can be enjoyed in the Olympus bar as sport plays on the TV in the background. Enjoy some romantic moments in the Les Gales Wine Bar that serves up tapas, cheese and full-bodied glasses of Rioja. A well-stocked supermarket, bread delivery service and takeaway are also at the disposal of guests.
At the end of an active day with the family, you’ll enjoy the peace and privacy of our air-conditioned mobile homes. Recharge in a comfortable bed before enjoying breakfast on your sun terrace as you make plans for the day that lies ahead.
As the campsite is nestled on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, many campers choose to fill a lot of their time at the beach. Enjoy the soft sands and turquoise waters of the beach on the edge of the resort, or seek out the pleasant sands of Playa de Creixell and Playa de Comarruga.
If you head into the elevated hillside behind the campsite, you will find the unique Aqualeon Amusement Park that has a safari park and water park. Back beside the coast, the Camino de Ronda hiking trail leads you on an ancient path with gorgeous views of the sea. Historical and culture highlights near the campsite include the Arc de Berà and Vila Romana dels Munts archaeological site.
For a day out in the big city, toss a coin and choose between brilliant Barcelona and terrific Tarragona.
