With a charming coastal location just 50m from a beautiful beach lapped by the pristine waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Campsite Sant Salvador is a wonderful destination for sun-soaked stays in Spain. Situated in the seaside resort of Coma-Ruga, close to the city of Tarragona in Costa Dorada, the site welcomes families in search of balmy beach breaks.
Offering you the chance to enjoy the feeling of sand between your toes and the sun on your face, the nearby beach is beautifully and provides the best place for swim. Stretching for over 3km, you’ll find plenty of space to lay down your towel, as well as a good selection of seaside amenities for your convenience.
On the campsite itself, you can enjoy a selection of sports such as football and basketball, and young campers are invited to join the lively mini club. The energetic resort staff organise activities and entertainment throughout the day for all holidaymakers, so there is never a dull moment at Sant Salvador.
In terms of dining, the campsite has a pleasant restaurant serving local and national dishes with a Mediterranean flair. The resort also boasts a welcoming bar with a relaxing terrace area, making it the ideal place for a snack and a drink, especially in the evening.
Set under the shade of tall trees, our accommodation options ensure you can enjoy a stay marked by privacy and peace. Settled down after a day of fun in the sun in one of our well-equipped and spacious mobile homes.
Of course, the main benefit of a camping holiday at Sant Salvador will be your chance to spend hours upon hours at the nearby beach, where soft white sand meets the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Build sandcastles, top up your tan or make a splash in the water, it’s your choice! The coast that runs along the local area is also home to a few water sports providers, so you can enjoy a variety of aquatic activities.
If you are taking the kids on holiday with you, there are a couple of standout child-friendly attractions worth checking out. In the hills that lead into the heartland of the region, you’ll find the awesome Aqualeón Water Park, a superb aquatic park with pools, giant slides and a beach. Located just outside Tarragona, the superb PortAventura World is a hugely enjoyable day, and features the stunning theme park PortAventura Park, the amazing water park of Caribe Aquatic Park and the brilliant Ferrari Land.
As well as playing host to PortAventura World, and some gorgeous beaches, the city of Tarragona has a wealth of cultural and historical attractions. The most interesting sightseeing spots in the city include the Roman amphitheater, The Ferreres Aqueduct, Circ Romà, the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona and the Colonial forum of Tàrraco, to name but a few.
Although slightly longer to get to, but no less worth it, the vibrant city of Barcelona lies along the coast from the campsite. Start your day early to enjoy a day trip to Barcelona where you can enjoy fantastic dining and shopping experiences as well as visiting top attractions such as the La Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Ciutadella Park, La Pedrera-Casa Milà and the stunning Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar.
